GS MOAA Dinner Meeting, January 13, 2026 at 5:30 pm
The January meeting will be at Pine Lakes Country Club, 5603 Granddaddy Dr., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
Program: Our President, John Bradley, with the help of our 2026 Board members, will explain what the Chapter accomplished in ’25, how we currently stand financially, and what our goals and strategies will be for all of ’26.

Please join us for our GS MOAA Dinner meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 2026,. Please do not forget your GS MOAA name tag if you have one.
Social time begins at 5:30 PM, followed by our program starting at 6:00 PM. A buffet-style dinner will be served at 6:30 PM. We expect to conclude around 7:45 PM.

PAYMENT MAY BE MADE: by credit card on line, or by check, cash or credit card at the door. Either way, prior registration is essential as we need to provide a pre-headcount to our dining club host.
Dress is business casual. You are encouraged to bring your spouse and other guests, especially if those guests are prospective members or are members who attend the dinners infrequently.

Biography
John E. Bradley, Jr. is a 1968 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, a 1986 graduate of the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, PA and a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Navy.
John retired from the Navy as a Commander in 1991, having served on 4 destroyers, 2 in Hawaii and 2 on the East Coast and a year both in-country Vietnam and in Saudi Arabia. He ended his career as the Commanding Officer of the Navy Sea Logistics Center in Mechanicsburg, PA.
John then served Hampden Township, a municipality in South Central Pennsylvania for 14 years as its Manager, and subsequently was elected to a four- year term as a Hampden Township Commissioner, responsible for transportation, land planning, waste water and fire protection services.
John relocated in 2007 with his wife, Gayla, to Florida where he worked part time in the Tampa Bay area as a consultant, public speaker and Senior Planner with Gannet Fleming, Inc., a worldwide engineering and planning firm until 2011.
He and his wife, Gayla, retired to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2015 where they are 8 hours closer to their 7 children, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. John was elected to the Grande Dunes POA Board of Golf Village and served as Chair of its Modification Committee and a member of its Architectural Committee. After that service, John was elected as President of the Grand Strand Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), an organization of which he is a long-term member.
